Our Referral Support
Our Referral Support services are designed to assist individuals in navigating their mental health journey. The SEWB/Mental Health Team is dedicated to arranging referrals to other services when needed, ensuring that clients receive the comprehensive care they deserve. In times of mental health emergencies or crisis situations, we provide crucial advice and information to guide individuals toward the appropriate resources.
Listening is at the heart of our approach. Simply giving someone the space to talk and expressing genuine interest in how they’re feeling can be immensely beneficial. We also offer reassurance to clients, acknowledging that seeking help can often feel lonely and intimidating. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns.
When and Where
Referral Support services are available through the SEWB program. Our team is committed to providing timely assistance and guidance to ensure you receive the help you need.
Eligibility
The eligibility for access to Pika Wiya Health Service is primarily limited to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people residing or visiting the Pika Wiya catchment area.
